Northwest Performance
Software, Inc. (NWPS), a small business located in Sequim, WA,
is a leading provider of Network Information and Security Utilities.
NetScanTools Pro and ipPulse are used at hundreds of Fortune 500
companies and government sites. NetScanTools Pro is one of the most
widely used Network Information Utilities and a pioneer in the grouped
network utilities arena. We are privately held.
Company History
Northwest
Performance Software, Inc. was founded in Nov. 1997 to market
our first product called NetScanTools. NetScanTools was designed
in 1995 as one of the first combined network utility toolsets at
a time when most Windows based network applications were offered
as separate utilities for each function. This integrated
approach was further expanded with the introduction of
NetScanTools Pro in 1999. We introduced the Managed Switch Port
Mapping Tool in 2005 and the USB Flash Drive Version of
NetScanTools Pro in late 2006.
Personnel
Kirk Thomas, Founder and President.
Mr. Thomas graduated from Seattle University with a BSEE in 1983.
While with Synetix, Inc. in 1983-1984, he was the designer of the
SuperSprite and VideoSprite video cards for the Apple II series
computers. Since that time he worked in the aerospace industry specializing
in computer vision leaving to start this company. He is a co-inventor
on a computer vision US Patent 5,727,300 FASTENER VERIFICATION SYSTEM.
Mickey Denny. Mr. Denny
is formerly of Darigold (Westfarm Foods) and was an IT department
Operations Support Manager and Customer Service Manager.
